Terms & Conditions (Switch Photography / Switch Gone Dark)

Booking & payment

A booking is secured with a 50% non-refundable booking deposit.
The remaining balance can be split into instalments if helpful, but must be paid in full no later than 48 hours before the session.
Your session date/time is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.

Cancellations & rescheduling

The booking deposit is non-refundable (it covers admin, planning, and reserved time).
If you need to reschedule your session, please give at least 14 days’ notice where possible. I’m happy to move your booking to a new date, subject to availability, and your booking deposit can be transferred to the rescheduled date.
If a reschedule request is made within 14 days of the session, it may be treated as a cancellation or may require a new deposit to secure a new date (this depends on the circumstances and whether the original date can be rebooked). Requests made within 48 hours of the session may be treated as a cancellation.
Genuine emergencies (e.g. illness, family emergency) will always be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and I’ll do my best to accommodate a new date.

Travel & location

Travel is included within 50 miles of Alton / Four Marks, Hampshire.
Beyond 50 miles, travel is charged at £0.45 per mile and will be shown on your quote upfront.
Studio hire, location fees, and permits (if required) are added to your quote unless stated otherwise.

Session style & conduct

Sessions are run in a professional, respectful environment. Boudoir sessions are 18+ only.
You are welcome to bring a chaperone if that helps you feel comfortable (please mention this in advance).
I reserve the right to end a session if anyone behaves in a threatening, aggressive, or inappropriate way.

Image selection, editing & turnaround

Proofs will be delivered via a private gallery for you to select your favourites.
Final turnaround is typically 4–6 weeks from the date you confirm your selected images.
If you purchase a large extra-image bundle, editing may take an additional 2–3 weeks, depending on volume.

Extra images/upgrades

Additional edited images, albums, prints, wall art, and other products are available on request.
Where physical products are ordered, they are produced through trusted print suppliers. Product pricing and delivery times vary by item.

Commercial usage & licensing

For commercial work, usage/licensing terms are agreed in writing as part of the quote/contract (e.g., web/social/ads/print, duration, and region).

Copyright & client usage

Copyright remains with the photographer.
You receive a licence to use your images for personal use (sharing online, printing for yourself, etc.).
Images must not be sold, entered into competitions as your own work, or used commercially without written permission.

Portfolio / social media permission

I will never share boudoir images publicly without your explicit written permission.
For other sessions (portraits/cosplay/commercial), portfolio use will be agreed in the contract, with options to opt out where appropriate.

Data & privacy

Client galleries are delivered privately via my website. Data handling is covered in the site’s Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Force majeure

If I’m unable to deliver the session due to illness, emergency, or events outside my control, I’ll reschedule or refund amounts paid (excluding any non-recoverable third-party costs like studio hire).
